As per sunday, I promised to write up some guild bank guidlines.
0) Be reasonable
There's lots of us, with lots of stuff. There will be conflicts. Mainly the blacksmith vs the Jeweler vs the Engineer.
Relax. There's always more we can get, farm, buy or otherwise aquire.
1) Craft materials go into the bank.
All craft stuff - no, really. Cloth goes in. Metals go in. Leather goes in. Most professions need little bits of this and LOTS of that. So throw the raw material in the bank.
If you've got lots of things that are only useful to one craft - like bronze settings for Jewel Crafting - they don't have to go in. But if you're asked for one...
2) Primary before secondary
Don't take cloth for bandages - its not funny. We've transfered over 300 cloth so far from the Alliance to the Horde to make those bags you're using, or the clothes the casters are wearing.
So only use the cloth you gather for bandages...if the tailor doesn't need it.
3) There's no need to rush
If there's enough *some material* in the bank to improve your skill ask yourself a question - can we use it yet?
If you can improve your skill so you can make lvl 30 items, when we're only level 20.....relax. It can wait a while.
4) Asking for money
Some of us have transfered money over from the Alliance, to help us hit the ground running. Mainly, Dispaar carries it. Once it runs out, it runs out.
We should be able to play without the cash. We managed it on the Alliance, and there's lots of us!
5) As usual, these guidelines are up for debate. I'm not the Leader. If you don't like something...TALK!
Oh, and leave a note saying you (dis)agree. Just so we all know where we stand...

Remember, if you pick up herbs/gems/stones/etc please put them in the bank as they will be used by someone. DO NOT VENDOR THEM.
Also Let me know if there are potions you would prefer or if they run short.
Do not be greedy with the potions, as I am now out of mats for all but the minor healing potions.
Having read the Bank rules, I am more than happy to run with them as they are.
1 small suggestion and a few minor requests...
Suggestion,
Might I suggest that we have a post Sunday run tithe of 10% deposited into the bank to build up the 250gp required for tab 2?
Requests,
1) Tailors - please don't convert cloth into bolts unless needed - Engineers need cloth...
2) I'm going to pull the dynamite from the bank as only engineers can use - I'll use them up solo playing to catch up.
3) More armor kits please - I'll be using as needed as I'll hopefully be helping to tank.
4) Please supply more protection potions... reason as above...
5) More sharpening stones please...
Anything useful I find or can make, I'll deposit if there is space.
If anyone needs anything engineers make, please send me a post message in-game and I will do my best to deliver ASAP - before next meet.
Andy - Sillvestra (miner/engineer)
PS - any recipees you find...
“Might I suggest that we have a post Sunday run tithe of 10% deposited into the bank to build up the 250gp required for tab 2?”
Lets face it at level 12 we’re lucky to get a few silver each run so what would be the point at the moment?? and why the rush to get the next tab??
“1) Tailors - please don't convert cloth into bolts unless needed - Engineers need cloth...”
Trust me you wont need loads of it and besides all that cloth was converted into bolts long before you had even joined the guild in ready to be used for anything the cloth wearers required.
“2) I'm going to pull the dynamite from the bank as only engineers can use - I'll use them up solo playing to catch up.”
Not a problem with this only E-Z throw dynamite can be used by non-engineers.
“3) More armor kits please - I'll be using as needed as I'll hopefully be helping to tank.
4) Please supply more protection potions... reason as above...
5) More sharpening stones please...”
Is it me? Or does anyone else get the feeling of Mine! Mine! Give me all the goodies?
PS - any recipees you find...
Sigh!
Sorry had to have my 2 pence worth
1st point.
The bank is there to assist ALL of the whole TEAM. We are working as a TEAM, and to remind you there is no 'I' in the word TEAM.
2nd point.
If you read the origional post you will have seen the "We've transfered over 300 cloth so far from the Alliance to the Horde to make those bags you're using,or the clothes the casters are wearing.
So only use the cloth you gather for bandages...if the tailor doesn't need it."
This cloth is not to be used for anything else unless the tailor has specifically stated if can be used.
I know other professions can use it, but the priority here is to kit out everyone with the largest slot bags now, not in 5 months down the line.
IF your needing linen cloth, then I would recommend you go and kill GREY mobs - these mobs will not give you xp, so will not change the balance of the party (ie. not characters being higher in lvl than anyone else). You will find these mobs in the otherside of the city (near the 1st inn).
3rd point.
The buff potions may stack in piles of 20, BUT this does not entitle you to take the WHOLE stack. By all means take a stack of healing/mana potions but be sensible with the other potions. You can only have 1 battle and 1 guardian potion running at any point in time. so pointless taking the Fortitude and defensive ones. The only potions that can be stripped out of the bank and stored in personal banks are the RAGE POTIONS, and this can only be done by WARRIORS in the party as these potions are CLASS SPECIFIC.
4th point
"Might I suggest that we have a post Sunday run tithe of 10% deposited into the bank to build up the 250gp required for tab 2?"
Why?
1) I know when I make potions, I have to purchase empty bottles to make, these bottles get more expensive as the better the potions get. And I am not asking for donations from anyone - just making them 100% free to the guild.
2) I don't know about anyone else, but when I have to purchase class abilities - I end up with coppers to my name. By making these donations we will find it harder to get all our abilities as they become available.
3) The amount of gold dropping is negliagble at this level.
4) why do we need another tab at present? the current tab is filled with things to be used at this lvl, when we have outgrown the items in the bank then after discussions - the items nolonger required will be auctioned off and the profits will be put into the bank.
Tabby.
I agree with all of this. Any gems etc as well need to be put into the bank - these can be used by the JC (me) and possibly other professions.
I have some money, so am willing to pass out some, but please do not get greedy.

One can of worms, opened...
First, guild tithe. We need 250 gold for a tab. Ok, that's 40 gold per person.
This should be doable, under standard conditions, but level 35, 40 ish - but with a catch. Remember the mount problem. We'll all want one, but they cost a fortune.
For now I'd recommend we keep money seperate, but put any money you have spare in the guild bank. I say again, SPARE money. I'll set withdraw limits to 1g/day in a day or two.
However, remember that some costs arn't going to apply to us. We won't buy ingrediants in the AH often. We can make our own quest items, potions, gear...so stop worrying about it!
Second, cloth conversion. Three stacks of wool make one stack of cloth. This gets worse at every step. Storing all the cloth as plain cloth is going to get real expensive, real quick.
However, if the tailors can leave a single stack laying around...? For the sake of convinience...?
Third...more xxxxxx, etc. Thats very difficult right now. In order to get, we need to gather. To gather the right stuff, we level.
Potions are a special problem because there's no herby alt. Leyladin is working on the leather/cloth/metal side, but that will only happen when her nail polish is sufficiently dry.
Forth, carrying quanities. As an example, Dispaar carries 5 of any potion he currently needs. Thats enough for a very, VERY long gaming session or a lot of deaths. If we die that often and still haven't gone back to a bank, we're doing something wrong and should rethink.
Five is a sane number.
Fifth, please watch out for quest items we're likely to need. I know none of us have really played the horde, but please keep an eye out.
Sixth, Tabby, please. Management sayings like that cause a red mist to descend over my eyes. This isn't a good sign.
Don't sound like management. The alliance have management. We have Victory!
Seventh, right now a big priority really is bigger bags. The cloth was imported over (from Jhadur) for that purpose, so please don't complain that it was used before you arrived. But I think this point has been dealt with above...
Eighth, we all have making professions. These cost, but we all have them. So this should balance out. However, please give all "junk" green items to Pirogeth, to shard to make into upgrades.
Nineth, Silv, until off-tank techniques are needed (which won't be for a while) and until you have a build that allows for tanking, I am going to do my damnedest to stop you tanking.
Because if you're tanking, I'm dead already.
Right now your instance party role is secondary healer and DPS.
Paladins can become tanks later on, but not for a while. This isn't me being picky, but right now you have no threat generation techniques.
It starts to be (remotely) practical about level 30, as memory serves. We'll talk about it then.
If I remember, I'll do a demonstration for you some time...soon.
Morning Everybody!
So, the gems that I have picked up are now all in the bank (sorry about that), and you may have noticed that the bank items have now all been more neatly arranged, yes, by me.
Also, I have no qualms if most of you want to do a bit of pre-game killing for XP without me, as after the completion of my class quest I am very close to 13th Lv (1/2 a bar off). Will let you sort it out amongst yourselves.
Other than that, I am mostly staying out of this verbal (and slightly dull) Ping-Pong match. See you Sunday!
Regards,
Luke
Bored now
At the moment its looking like I wont be able to make Sunday. Either my Graphics card is buggered or the AGP slot has gone. At the moment its taking me 20-30minutes to get a picture on the monitor and that lasts for about 10 minutes.
