Visitations

There are many upsides to staying with a friend whist on holiday.

The most minor of fringe benefits are beyond their weight in gold - knowing where to go, transport....introductions to others...

But here in also lies a risk you must face - the chance, however small, that they may introduce you to a friend.

This friend, however likeable or personable stands a chance - tiny, perhaps - of having dedicated their life to a Purpose. A Purpose that cries for attention every day.

A Purpose that can destroy sleep night after night.

A Purpose that needs to be shown: Marie-lyne

...and Aryanne.

Of course, any such visit may end without incident. There's a good chance that they might not trust a relative stranger to hold their only child.

You never know if he might drop it.

Or use duct tape in some strange and twisted way, to ensure peace while he drinks his tea.

But sometimes, sometimes an unreasoning trust can develop. Ignoring all reason and experience they might trust their child to someone who hasn't held a baby in the last 10 years.
Someone like me...

holding a baby looks good on you, you, you should think about getting around to having some of your own soon.

Not sure why you have one eye closed and the other off at an angle.......

You look happy enough though - you never know one day....

I took the pictures and since I was looked at "what are you doing, i will delete those pictures in 2 minutes" I didnt have time to take a good picture.

My cousin is coming over with my goddaughter tonight so more pictures will be taken.

please note- Martin was talking to the baby and gladly took her a second time around.

lol, yeah his act of not wanting to hold the baby doesn't fool me a bit, i know he loves kids and will make a great father one day

was one eye closed cos he had only just woken up???? or had the baby perhaps christened him causing the same reaction??.

Or was he doing some thing he really likes doing??....

maybe just the double flash, Aryanne has lost the reflex to close her eyes on first flash because I take SO MANY pictures of her. Martin on the other hand... well i managed to have maybt 5 pictures since hes been here... but still got a week and a bit to change that.

But if his plans is to not have children he'll have to find another women to visit in Canada!

What Isabelle can't/won't tell you is what I was saying.

I was going through the Dungeons and Dragons monstrous manual. Trying to work out what sort of monster she really was.

Not a Dragon, she lacks the wings.
A Hydra has more heads.
Mummy - no, needs to be wrapped in bandages.
A halfling? Closer to the right size, but not hairy enough...
